Eugene den Ouden born in 1964 in the Netherlands and currently living in Germany started painting in 2018. His first paintings where of several night sky constellations, which were first photographed by him with his telescope in his own privat observatory. To experience the several nebulae and galaxies from a relative small photograph the idea of painting them on canvas made him start to buy acrylic paint and canvasses.
As in any creative process, the creator evolves in his art and tries something new along the way.
As of 2023, he found a style, which he can call his own. Besides painting, he is also building garden sculptures, wind sculputers and builds several artefacts out of discarded steel and iron objects which are presented under the header " More" on this website.
